Gaze Upon Medusa I

Over the past week I’ve spent hours on rocky beaches, obsessing over the shapes of and on stones. I found fairytales and faces among them so I ended up doodling only to come up with a skull of stones. I’m going to do a collection of these drawings, probably 6, and put them together into a zine. The working title is ‘Gaze Upon Medusa’ but that may change. I want to celebrate International Zine Month before the month actually ends and I’m late to the party yet again. The zines should be available for purchase by the end of the week.

One thing I can't decide is whether to add a shadow at the various parts to make these stones look as if they're sitting on a surface. The entire drawing is in biro so it might just blend too much...any thoughts are welcome!
